In keeping with our mission and core values of promoting music, visibility, and pride for all; Pride Bands Alliance is now accepting Scholarship applications to help defray some of the 2023 Pride Bands Alliance Annual Conference costs for a limited number of applicants.
All Pride Bands Organizational and Affiliate Members who have demonstrated a commitment to their respective band(s) are eligible to apply for this scholarship. If selected, the recipient will receive a Scholarship of at least $300. The total amount of Scholarship awarded to each recipient, as well as the total number of scholarships awarded is dependent on contributions to the scholarship fund each year. While all members are welcome to apply for this Scholarship, we encourage only those who are truly in need of financial assistance to apply.
Please submit your completed online application, and forward one letter of recommendation from a member of your band’s leadership team or board of directors to scholarships@pridebands.org by April 1, 2023. The Scholarship Committee will send reminders as the deadline approaches.
All applicants will be notified of the final determination on or before May 1, 2023. Arrangements for electronic delivery of the award to the recipients will be made then.
If you are NOT in need of financial assistance but would like to contribute to the scholarship fund, please consider helping out your fellow bandmates at the donation link on the Pride Bands Alliance website. Indicate in the comments section that the donation is for conference scholarships.
