The Pillars of Pride recognizes extraordinary accomplishments by those actively supporting Pride Bands Alliance, our member organizations, the community band movement and the LGBTQ+ community. The Pillars of Pride awards recognize outstanding service or contributions to the growth and development of Pride Bands by one of its members.

Member Bands and individuals within Member Bands or Affiliate members may nominate a candidate by submitting the name to Pride Bands with supporting documents. A nominated member can be someone still active within our organization or someone being honored posthumously. The Pride Bands Board of Directors will compile all of the submissions and review and select the recipients of the Pillars of Pride.
